This was the first year for the Consignment Shop/Store. In the past (going back 10 years plus), there had been various versions of silent auctions, live auctions, and similar flea market type shops.

The location was away from the main convention center in the South building and many have commented on this being inconvenient. It was very convenient for access to the nearby parking garages and around the corner from the Food Court.

The event was well attended and we believe primarily positive vibes was experienced by all (sellers, buyers, volunteers running the event).

If there is a survey or some form of feedback that is offered by GAMA, please respond with any comments regarding things that went well and what could be done better in future years.

All of us at Big Mallet Auctions want to thank everyone who participated, and we look forward to seeing many of you at Gen Con in July/August and next year at Origins 51.

Origins 2025 is fast approaching and is looking to be a great celebration of the convention’s 50 years of history!

The procrastination factor is in full force and we are seeing a increased amount of item registration as the deadline looms. Fortunately we are able to extend the deadline for another week. Please plan to have all your items entered by the EOD on June 9, 2025.

Please keep in mind that you may still access your registered items to print your tags after this date but you will not be able to make any additional changes.

We are just over a month from Origins but another reminder that the registration deadline for items you want to sell at the 2025 Origins Consignment Store is on June 2.

17 days to the item registration deadline.

There will be no onsite registration so you have just over 2 weeks and 3 weekends to get those items in the system.

Looking to refresh your game collection? The Origins Game Fair Consignment Store is back, giving you the perfect opportunity to buy, sell, and trade games with fellow Origins attendees! Whether you’re looking to make room on your shelves or score a rare find, this is the place to be. 

How to Sell Your Games

Got games you no longer play? Turn them into cash (or more games)! Here’s how:

• Register your items online and print the provided PDF tags
• Drop off your tagged items on Thursday (12 to 5 pm) in Ohio Center B&C. If you can’t make it, email us ahead of time.
• Pay $1 per item at drop-off and a 10% commission will be deducted from all sold items
• Pick up your earnings and unsold items on Sunday (10 am to 2 pm). Payouts are in cash, or for larger amounts, a combination of cash and check.
• Can’t make Sunday pickup? No worries – your payout will be mailed within 30 days. Just note that any unsold items not picked up will become the property of Big Mallet Auctions.

• Friday & Saturday: 10 am to 8 pm
