Looking at the Numbers
The growth of the auction in our new space at the Marriott has been amazing. This year we eclipsed 12,000 items sold in the store alone (12,253) and we reached a new total sales volume of $448,671.
Once again – it is a huge effort that includes all our volunteers, sellers, participants, and the support from Gen Con Staff for this event to be so successful.

A few reminders for Buyers
You must have a valid badge for any day you are participating in the Auction or Consignment Store.
We are located in the Marriot Hotel in the 2nd floor ballroom.
All participants in the Live Auction will need a bidder card. These can be purchased at the registration tables on the Auction side of the room for $1 and are good for the entire weekend. A bidder card is not required to purchase items in the store however you can bid from the store with a bidder card.
You can purchase a tab with a $50 deposit. We will hold your items each day until you are ready to check out and pay for your items. We expect items to be cleared/paid for each day and the $50 deposit is a credit towards your purchases. It is not otherwise refundable.
All transactions are subject to a 3% buyers premium charge. We waive this for cash transactions.
All store purchases will be charged 7% Indiana Sales Tax.
We are selling larger reusable bags this year – the cost will be $5 (tax included).
Caveat emptor – buyer beware. We ask all sellers to confirm their item contents.

Consignment Store Deadline 7/26
The Live Auction registration is closed by the Store is still open until Sunday, July 26 at 11:59:59 PM EST.
Please review some of our tips on securing your items and placing your tags.
- Tags should be securely attached (use plenty of tape – preferably painters tape) on the OUTSIDE of the item.
- Do not place tag inside a bag or underneath packaging – it must be accessible to write on/stamp for both store and auction
- The bar code should always be fully displayed
- Add additional tape to boxes so that they remain closed (again – preferably painters tape to avoid damaging the box)
- Smaller items should be secured in larger packaging (example – use a comic bag and board for dice sets or smaller items)
